A clean lined, blue and white covered serving dish handpainted with 'piselli' (Italian for peas, which is the pattern name as well), bordered by blue lines. It's charming for serving soups or stews but can also serve to keep ingredients or snacks at the ready on the kitchen counter. Stamped by the Pexonne manufacture.
Dimensions: approx. 14 cm x 27 cm / 5.5 in x 10.5 in
These pieces wear their history like all vintage pieces which only adds to their story. This dish has quite a bit of pale crazing on the interior and some small scratches (see 4th and 5th pictures). It has one superficial crack and chip on the inside rim (see 3rd photo) and two chips on the underside of the cover.
